Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika (optional)
- 1 egg
- 1 cup crushed pork rinds or almond flour
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 370°F for 5 minutes.
- Pat the chicken breasts dry and coat each side with olive oil.
- Sprinkle salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika over the chicken.
- In a bowl, whisk the egg. In another bowl, mix crushed pork rinds or almond flour, parmesan, and Italian seasoning.
- Dip each chicken breast in the egg, then coat with the crumb mixture, pressing well to adhere.
- Place the chicken in the air fryer basket, ensuring there’s space between pieces.
- Cook for 18-20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Use oil sparingly for an enhanced crispiness. For added flavor, marinate the chicken before cooking.
